Kid's Spanish Hour
Every Thursday, 5:30 - 6:30pm
Led by Chessa Rich, a Spanish immersion teacher, this is a free event at Johnny's Gone Fishing! Held every Thursday from 5:30-6:30pm, Kid's Spanish Hour is filled with stories, songs, and games in Spanish! No Spanish-speaking experience is required, and all kids and their families are welcome, with content designed for Pre-K through 5th grade.
Chessa has taught in Spain at a bilingual school, privately tutored students of all ages, managed the ArtsCamp at the Carrboro ArtsCenter, and currently teaches at ISLA - Immersion for Spanish Language Acquisition. |
It's free to attend, learn, and have fun, and we'll have coffee, drinks, paninis, pastries, ice cream and a variety of snacks for kids and their families available for purchase! Or grab dinner at the Taco Truck, which is parked out front every Thursday starting at 5:30pm!
